Step 2: Conduct Analyses

Once an election system has been loaded into a JUDGEIT object, quantities of interest can be simulated. There are three types of analyses than can be performed:

district.report: Examine the estimation
seats: Given a vote share, determine the seat share
- Plotting a seats-votes curve
seats.with.prob: Determine the fraction of seats whose win probabilities lie within a chosen range.
results.prob: Given a vote share or deviation, determine the probability that the seat share is within a particular margin
bias.resp, or svsum: Determine partisan bias and responsiveness
votes.for.result, or winvote: Given a probability of victory, determine the total vote share required to attain it
voting.power: Determine the power that distinct groups have in changing an election result
