Prior to installation, you will need to install the R statistical package available from the main site here. Use at least R 2.3.

1. From the R command line.

   > install.packages("anchors",
                      repos = "http://gking.harvard.edu")
   

2. From a unix shell.
   1. Download the bundle for unix anchors_Version.tar.gz.
   2. In the same directory as the downloaded file type
      % R INSTALL anchors_Version.tgz
