There are two things you need to do:

1. Prior to installation, you will need to install the R statistical package available from the main site here. Use at least R 2.3.

   Note: you must use R 2.3(it is a good idea to upgrade anyway).
   

   Use the default installation options and locations locations provided by the automated installer.

2. install the package from the R command line,

   > install.packages("anchors", repos = "http://gking.harvard.edu")
